This family-friendly excursion will begin with a 30-minute 4x4 trek through the tropical rainforest while beneath the shadow of the Arenal Volcano. You will ride to a gushing waterfall where your adventures will begin; for the adventure, climb up a 10 meter–20 ft wall and reach a zip line to the Monkey Drop, then rappel down on a free fall from the cable to the floor, and then continue to enjoy the following four falls.

Brave rappels along cascading waterfalls down into unspoiled canyons, rich with tropical vegetation. Four of the rappels are along waterfalls; the fifth is a dry rock face. Guides will see to it that you are safe and have as much fun as possible. Your outdoor adventure will be guided by professionally trained canyoneering and rock climbers and with state-of-the-art safety equipment that is inspected daily.

No previous experience is necessary to go on this voyage; only the desire for pure, unfiltered excitement. A typical Costa Rican meal is provided after the morning tours and upon arrival for the afternoon tour. Plan on wearing lightweight clothing that dries easily. You will get wet! Lightweight shoes, hiking sandals, or even lightweight boots will work fine.

Plan on bringing dry clothes to change into after the tour is done. It is OK to bring cameras, but make sure that they can either get wet or have a waterproof case to protect them. A photographer will accompany your group on the tour, and a disc with photos of your tour will be available for purchase at the end of the tour.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING? Easy drying clothes, hiking sandals or shoes, and a camera (waterproof). We recommend bringing a change of clothes because you will get wet on this tour. Changing rooms are available after the tour.

**(1) Certain tour operators and shuttle companies require a minimum number of people to run the tour or transportation service. In the event that they do not meet this requirement, the tour will not be offered and we will work with you to book a different tour. (2) Tours may be canceled due to inclement weather, strikes, blocked roads, or any other reason beyond our control. (3) A client must cancel at least 48 hours in advance if they wish to cancel. Any reservation made less than 48 hours in advance must be canceled at least 8 hours in advance. (4) In the case of a cancellation by the tour operator, a refund will be offered to participating guests. (5) Selina is not responsible for any property or items lost during the tour. (6) For some tours / transportation / rental equipment, clients are required to sign a waiver at the Selina property.
