This tour begins by descending the 500-meter trail to the magnificent La Fortuna Waterfall, renowned for its 60-meter (197-foot) high falls and crystal-clear waters.  You can choose to swim in its refreshing waters, take amazing photographs, or simply relax and take in all of the beauty of the La Fortuna Waterfall. At the end of the trail, we will enjoy a delicious fruit break to recharge our batteries. 

Along the trails of Arenal Park, we will enter into the tropical forest and areas that were once devastated by the fury of the volcano. During the hike, it is possible to see a great variety of the area’s characteristic flora and fauna, as well as sites of interest like the impact craters and the lava slides of 1992, a large accumulation of solidified volcanic material ejected from the crater of this (possibly colossal) volcano during the very active period of that year. On clear days, you will enjoy incredible views of the impressive Arenal Volcano, Arenal Lake, the Tilarán mountain range, and Cerro Chato. Our nature guide will provide you with important and interesting information about the main characteristics of the volcano, which has been active since 1968, and many more details about all of the things you will encounter along the trail.

Lastly, enjoy the Baldi Hot Springs. Amidst the tropical rainforest, these 25 thermal water pools are filled with crystalline waterfalls for the use and enjoyment of all visitors. The purity of the water will make you feel like you are floating in an oasis of healing, with birds singing all around you and the sound of falling water that invites you to relax and recover your wellness and quality of life.
