Known as one of the most beautiful environmental projects in Costa Rica, Arenal Hanging Bridges is a combination of trails and hanging bridges situated near Volcano Arenal.  This nature preserve shelters a great variety of flora and fauna including many native and migratory birds.  These 3.1 kilometers of trails include views of Arenal Volcano, crossing of 14 bridges (6 are hanging bridges), and an opportunity to appreciate the great diversity that is typical of the rainforest.

Next, we will continue on to the La Fortuna Waterfall through a 1 km trail of uneven terrain where you view the mature forests that surround the Fortuna River and look for monkeys, toucans, and other birds that inhabit the region. Once we arrive at the La Fortuna Waterfall and River, you can choose to take a refreshing swim in the crystal waters or relax to the sound of the impressive waterfall and enjoy its moist breeze.

WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE? Entrance to the hanging bridges and La Fortuna Waterfall, Transportation, Naturalist Guide and Lunch. 

WHAT SHOULD I BRING? Hiking shoes or tennis shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, bathing suit, change of clothes and towel.

**(1) Certain tour operators and shuttle companies require a minimum number of people to run the tour or transportation service. In the event that they do not meet this requirement, the tour will not be offered and we will work with you to book a different tour. (2) Tours may be canceled due to inclement weather, strikes, blocked roads, or any other reason beyond our control. (3) A client must cancel at least 48 hours in advance if they wish to cancel. Any reservation made less than 48 hours in advance must be canceled at least 8 hours in advance. (4) In the case of a cancellation by the tour operator, a refund will be offered to participating guests. (5) Selina is not responsible for any property or items lost during the tour. (6) For some tours / transportation / rental equipment, clients are required to sign a waiver at the Selina property.
